Instructions For SuperStone System
(Note:
150 Pounds Of Aggregate 1 Portion Pack)
1. 1 Portion
Pack consists of 2 containers. 1 container is marked Resin
Part "A", the other container is marked Hardener
Part "B". Pour contents of hardener into Resin.
2. SHAKE
CONTENTS FOR 3 TO AS MUCH AS 10 MINUTES, depending upon temperature.
(The higher the temperature, the lower the mixing time to
minimum of 3 minutes).
3. Start
mixer (with aggregate in) and pour combined SuperStone mix
into mixer. Mix for 6 minutes. NOTE: If mixing in mortar box,
6 minutes will be sufficient if aggregate is agitated vigorously.
NOTE: Make sure stones are completely coated.
4. Pour
contents into wheelbarrow and move wheelbarrow to job site.
5. Pour
batch on slab, rake out to approximate thickness and screed
to desired thickness. Tamp into place with heavy magnesium
alloy trowel and trowel to a tight, close finish with a rounded
corner or swimming pool steel trowel.

CAUTION
1. Do
not use mixer with rubber blades or any rubber grommets, shims,
etc.
2. Leave
edge of each trowelled mix ragged so each new mix can be feathered
to previous mix.
3. Do
not use this product when temperatures are below 55 degrees
F.
4. During
threatening weather have wide roll of Visqueen available in
event of rain.
5. If
the job is not completed in one day it is desirable to strip
job with metal, plastic, or wood strips. This would eliminate
any unattractive cold joints.
6. Forms
should be oiled with any oil or vaseline to give quick release.
7. If
conditions warrant, doubling mix to 300 pounds of aggregate
to 2 Portion Packs is feasible.
8. If
there is a delay in continuity of use of mixer, clean out
residue with soap, water and a small amount of aggregate.
Turn mixer and run until barrel is clean. Repeat if necessary.
